DP-900 : Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals
The DP-900 or “Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals” exam is designed to validate the foundational knowledge of core data concepts and how they are implemented using Microsoft Azure data services. Candidates for this exam should understand the concepts of relational and non-relational data, and types of data workloads such as transactional or analytical. The exam covers the following areas: 1. Describe core data concepts (15-20%) 2. Describe how to work with relational data on Azure (25-30%) 3. Describe how to work with non-relational data on Azure (25-30%) 4. Describe an analytics workload on Azure (25-30%) As for the cost, it varies by region. In the United States, as of my last update, the fee for the DP-900 exam was $99 USD, but it's recommended to check the official Microsoft Certification website or contact Microsoft directly for the most current pricing and any possible changes. Prices can differ based on the country from which you are taking the exam due to differences in the local currency and market conditions.
